Marist Son-Rise Breakfast

Senior Hall (formerly known as the Senior Gym)
7.30 am - 8.30 am

Based on the success of our first Father and Son Breakfast in 2018 we are delighted to organise another breakfast and guest speaker in a larger venue this year.  All students in Years 4 - 12 and a person of significance are all warmly invited to attend. This person could include fathers, mothers, step-parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle.


There will be round banquet tables of 10 inside the Senior Hall with free seating on the day.  

Ticket Price:
$10.00 per adult  
$10.00 per student (you need to book and pay for your son to attend)
Includes hot buffet breakfast, tea, coffee and juice.  Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available on the day.

RSVP:
5 pm Tuesday 12 March 2019 for all online bookings.  

Guest Speaker:    Mr Chris Carlile

Chris is married to Lucita (Luz) and they have three adult children: Angel (29) who attended St Clare’s College and Edward (26) and Benedict (21) who graduated from Marist. Both Chris and Luz are active in the Catholic faith community. Luz is parish secretary at St Benedict’s, Narrabundah and Chris has been active at both a local and national level. Chris has previously been the coordinator of the Social Justice Group in Corpus Christi Parish, he served for 11 years on the National Council of Caritas Australia, is currently on the National Council for Couples for Christ Australia, and is an Advisory Group member for Australian Catholic Earthcare. He has worked for the Church overseas in Bougainville and the Philippines. Professionally Chris has worked as a torture and trauma counsellor, as a disability support worker in group homes and for the last 19 years as a public servant in the Department of Family and Community Services; the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Health.

Parking:
Please park on Marr Street or park in the asphalt or dirt car park to your left as you enter Gate No 1.  Please do not park in the bus bays or staff parking areas.
