Loreto Past Pupils' Association President's Update

What a year 2023 has been! It is hard to believe we are closing in on the end of another year. The Loreto Past Pupils' Association has been very busy this year, particularly in the last few months.

This year we welcomed Fiza from Mary Ward International Australia to speak about MWIA's work which we continue to make an annual donation towards. In November, we hosted a successful High Tea and a beautiful Mass of Remembrance. We awarded the 2022 Dux Award to Hannah Ollerenshaw and Year 8 Arts and Performing Arts Scholarships to three very deserving recipients. We also presented the Loreto Past Pupils' Association Award to Rose Canavan at the Year 12 Celebration Day Assembly. To wrap up 2023, our Annual General Meeting took place in an evening time slot to try and make the meeting more accessible for College parents and working alumni to attend. There were no leadership position changes in the Past Pupils' Association for the 2024 year.

Keep your eyes out for more alumni events as things ramp up towards our 150 year celebrations in 2025, which we are very excited about! I am very proud of the collaborative work that the Loreto Past Pupils' Association and the College are involved in.

Reunions are a fantastic opportunity for alumni to reconnect with each other and the Loreto College community. We are excited to welcome the following year levels back to Loreto College for our Reunion Day:

Class of 1994 – 30 Year Reunion
Class of 2004 – 20 Year Reunion
Class of 2014 – 10 Year Reunion
Class of 2022 – 2 Year Reunion

Class of 1974 – 50 Year Reunion
Class of 1963, 1964 & 1965 – 60 Year Reunion

Easter Picnic

Save the date for our Past Pupils Easter Picnic to be held Wednesday 27 March in the beautiful Loreto College Ballarat Gardens. Keep an eye on our website for more information in early 2024.

Loreto alumni from Loreto schools around the world are invited to attend the biennial Federation Conference at Loreto Toorak. Save the date!
