Welcome! The Loreto Past Pupils' Association (LPPA) welcomes you to the first edition of the Alumni eNews for 2024. Since our last edition we have been busy. To start 2024, we proudly awarded $500 each to the 2023 VCE Dux Jessica Sheehan and Vocational Major High Achiever Ava Simpson at the start of 2024. Our Year 12s also received gold Loreto crest badges from Michaela Prendergast (LPPA Secretary) and myself, continuing a tradition that begun in 2023 to remind them that they will always belong to and are part of a special, wider Loreto
community. We've also hosted an Easter Picnic, our 2024 reunions (which saw over 200 past pupils reconnect!) as well as our annual Mother's Day Liturgy on Sunday 4 May. Looking ahead, we have two exciting events this month: a Past Pupils ladies lunch on Friday 24 May and Past Pupils pre-show drinks on Saturday 25 May, coinciding with the final performance of 2024 School Production of Mary Poppins. We hope to see you at these events. More details below. Save the date for Loreto Federation celebrations in October at Loreto Mandeville Hall, Toorak. Past
pupils are invited to attend – to find out more information in the coming weeks, visit the Past Pupils section on the Loreto College Ballarat website. Additionally, we are actively collaborating with the College to plan for the 150th anniversary of Loreto in Australia next year, slated for the first weekend of March 2025. Mary Poppins - Past Pupils Pre-Show DrinksYour Past Pupils Association has organised pre-show drinks on Saturday 25 May. Come along from 6PM for a drink in the MMC Foyer before you enjoy the show.

2024 ReunionsDuring March and April we had the joy of welcoming back the Classes of 2022, 2014, 2004, 1994, 1984, 1974, 1965, 1964 and 1963. Our reunions are always a wonderful opportunity to see old friends. Thank you to everyone who travelled far and wide to join us! |
