Our youngest tamariki in Preschool have been exploring the value of service to others, and they put their learning into action in a sweet way!

Alongside Year 1, the children baked a giant vanilla cake, 12 chocolate chip cookies, and 12 chocolate chip muffins to deliver to the local Soup Kitchen. Amelia from Preschool, together with her older sisters in Primary, helped deliver the treats after school with their mum.

It was a wonderful day that highlighted the spirit of Oha (service) and showed that even our youngest students can make a meaningful impact in the community.

This experience is just one example of how Marsden encourages students to develop empathy, kindness, and a sense of responsibility from an early age.
