Year 10 Whānau Celebration
Thursday, 27 November 2025

Last night, 170 students, whānau, and teachers gathered at school for this year's Year 10 Whānau Celebration, marking the end of Middle School and recognising the growth, challenges, and achievements of the cohort.

The evening began with an informal meet-and-greet in Te Manawa o te Kura, where families, students, and staff enjoyed reconnecting over pass-around dinner food. Guests then moved to the Auditorium for the formalities, which included a warm welcome from 2026 Head Girl-elect Charlie Fitzgerald and Principal Paula Wells.

A slideshow capturing four years of memories — from shared adventures to classroom highlights — offered a moment to reflect on how these experiences have shaped the students' confidence and character.

Following the presentations, everyone returned to Te Manawa o te Kura for tea, coffee, and dessert, continuing the conversations and celebrations. It was a heartfelt and joyful evening, honouring this special milestone for our Year 10 cohort as they prepare to step into Senior School.
